This line connects northwest Delhi with Haryana.

The Delhi Metro Green Line was the first route to be built under Delhi Metro Phase II. Connecting northwest Delhi with Haryana, the Delhi Metro Green Line, known as Line 5, runs between Inderlok in Delhi and the Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh Station in Haryana. Like the Blue Line, the Green Line has a branch line connecting Ashok Park Main Station with Kirti Nagar Station. The Delhi Metro Green Line, which has 24 stations, is an elevated route.

Delhi Metro Green Line: Extension

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a metro corridor on March 14, 2024, that will run between the Inderlok Metro Station and the Indraprastha Metro Station. The Union Cabinet on March 13 approved the Rs 8,399 crore project.

 

Inderlok-Indraprastha corridor

The Inderlok-Indraprastha corridor will be an extension of the Green Line and will provide interchange with the Red Line, Yellow Line, Airport Line, Magenta Line, Violet Line and Blue Line. This metro corridor will enhance connectivity to the Bahadurgarh region of Haryana.
