How to view and pay Gescom electricity bill?

Follow this guide to pay your GESCOM bill online and offline.

In 1999, Karnataka initiated a comprehensive power sector reform. First, the Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) was disbanded, and the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) was established. In November 1999, the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) was subsequently established.

In June 2002, the second step of the reform process saw the separation of KPTCL’s transmission and distribution operations. 4 new electricity distribution firms were established in Karnataka.

Gulbarga Energy Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) started operations on June 1, 2002, having taken over the distribution of electricity in six districts from KPTCL.
