The first metro on the route starts at 6 AM and the last metro runs at 11 PM. The headway during peak hours is 5 minutes and 30 seconds.

Lucknow Metro Super Saver Card
The Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation in May 2023 introduced the Super Saver Card to offer convenience and cost benefits to its daily commuters. Passengers have to pay Rs 1,400 to get the Lucknow Metro Super Saver Card for unlimited metro rides for 30 days. Another Rs 100 must be paid as a security deposit. This amount is refundable on the return of the card.

UP govt gives nod to Lucknow Metro Phase-2 project
January 11, 2024: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has given his approval for Phase-2 of the Lucknow Metro. To be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 5,881 crore, Phase-2 is also known as the East-West corridor.
The Char Bagh Station that connects the city’s main railway station through the metro link will act as the junction station for the existing north-south corridor and the upcoming east-west corridor of the Lucknow Metro. Providing connectivity to some of the most densely populated areas in the old city, Phase-2 will boost both, connectivity and real estate prices.
Lucknow Metro east-west corridor to be complete in 5 years
The proposed east-west corridor of the Lucknow Metro Rail project is estimated to cost Rs 4,265 crore. The cost of the corridor has escalated from Rs 3,786 crore (estimated in the detailed project report in February 2019 to Rs 4,265 crore due to inflation, says UP Metro Rail Corporation. Spanning 11 km, the east-west corridor will connect the city’s densely populated areas with the Charbagh Railway Station. It is likely to be completed in five years.
Of the total length of the east-west corridor from Charbagh to Vasant Kunj, the span of the elevated and underground track would be about 4.2 kms and 6.8 kms, respectively. Of the total 12 metro stations on the corridor, 7 will be underground and 5 elevated.
