PMAY status check with Aadhaar
Step 1: To check PMAY status with Aadhaar, go to the official site and click on the ‘Search Beneficiary’ option from the main menu.
Step 2: When you select the option ‘Search by the name’, you will be asked to enter your Aadhaar number.
Step 3: After entering your Aadhaar number, you will be able to view the details and status of your PMAY application.

PMAY status check by Application ID
To check you PMAY subsidy status by application ID, you can get the status of your PMAY application online by logging on to the official website, https://pmaymis.gov.in/default.aspx.
Step 1: Select the ‘Citizen Assessment’ option on the top of the home page.
Step 2: From the various options that appear on the screen, select the ‘Track Your Assessment Status’ option at the bottom of the menu.
Step 3: From here on, there are two ways to track your PMAY application status. You can check your PMAY subsidy status online using your assessment ID or using your registered mobile number.

PMAY subsidy status check with name, father’s name and mobile number
Step 1: To track your PMAY application status, select the ‘By name, father’s name and ID type’ option.
Step 2: Provide details like your state, city, district, father’s name, ID type (Aadhaar or driving licence, passport, etc.). Enter the details of the ID type you have selected along with your registered mobile number.
Step 3: After you ‘Submit‘ this information, your PMAY home loan subsidy status will be displayed on the screen.
PMAY subsidy status with assessment ID
Those who want to check their PMAY application status, can also do so by entering the assessment ID and registered mobile number.
PMAY status check via toll-free number
Applicants can also contact the National Housing Bank (NHB) and the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) on toll-free numbers for CLSS-related queries.

You can also get in touch with the local officer of your municipal authority who is in charge of the PMAY programme. You can also get in touch with your bank to track your PMAY application status.
How to check if your PMAY subsidy has been credited in your home loan account?
Once your home loan provider approves your application for the PMAY credit-linked subsidy, you can track the status of your application on the https://pmayuclap.gov.in portal. Known as CLSS Awas Portal (CLAP), the website helps you to track the status of your PMAY subsidy application though its CLSS Tracker.
To track the status of your application, on the home page, under the CLSS tracker, enter your application ID. Your PMAY application ID would be an 11-digit alphanumeric code.
Once you enter the number, click on the ‘get status’ button.
Now, a six-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, which you will have to key in quickly, since the OTP will be valid only for five minutes.
Note that the CLAP sends the applicant ID and the OTP code on the registered mobile number of the borrower/co-borrower.
Following this, the screen would show the status of your PMAY subsidy, as shown in the image below.
PMAY subsidy processing stages
There are five stages through which the PMAY subsidy application has to pass, before it reaches your home loan account. These stages include:
- Application ID generated.
- Due diligence by PLI.
- Claim uploaded the on Central Nodal Agency Portal.
- Subsidy claim approval.
- Subsidy released to PLI.
Note: Once a stage is cleared, the colour of the icon on the screen turns to green. If the colour is blue, it means that this phase/stage is still under processing.

News update
2 crore homes to be built under PMAY-Gramin: Puri
February 28, 2024: The government has so far built 2.51 crore houses under the rural component of its flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, housing minister Hardeep Singh Puri said today. Puri, who is also the petroleum & natural has minister, said that more than 80 lakh houses have been constructed under the urban component of the PMAY scheme till date.
The scheme has been extended in the latest Budget, and the government will sanction another 2 crore houses in under the PMAY-Gramin component, Puri added.
Over 2.55 cr houses completed under PMAY-G till Jan 2024
February 8, 2024: Under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G), over 2.55 crore houses have been completed as on February 1, 2024, the housing ministry has said. The ministry of rural development is implementing with effect from April 1, 2016, to provide assistance to eligible rural households with an overall target to construct 2.95 crore pucca houses with basic amenities by March 2024. Out of the overall mandated target of 2.95 crore houses allocated to states/UTs under the PMAY-G, more than 2.94 crore houses have already been sanctioned to the eligible beneficiaries, the ministry said in its official statement.
