Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput may soon be shifting to their new sea-facing, swanky, duplex apartment in Mumbai’s Worli area if the Instagram updates of Rajput are any indication. The couple recently visited the site of their under-construction home in south Mumbai, and Rajput shared the photographs on her Instagram handle, captioning it, “One step at a time.”
The couple, who got married in 2015, currently live in their Juhu home, along with their children, Misha and Zain.
At the time of purchase, Kapoor told the media that the decision to shift to another location was made since his family needed a bigger house.
“I have bought a new home in Central Mumbai. It will be a year-and-a-half, perhaps even two, before we do the interiors and move in there…it’s an investment that I needed to make. I have a much smaller home in Juhu and, with two children, the requirement of the family has changed,” Shahid was quoted by the DNA newspaper recently.

Kapoor, reportedly, bought the duplex for Rs. 56.6 crore in 2018. —Spread over 8,625 square feet, the unit occupies the 42nd and 43rd floor of Three Sixty West, a posh high-rise building in Worli, facing the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Kapoor paid an additional Rs. 2.91 crore as stamp duty and registration charges to jointly register the property with Rajput.
A premium locality in Mumbai, Worli currently boasts property values hovering around Rs. 45,000 per square foot.
