To participate in the Cidco Lottery 2025, an applicant has to pay the earnest money deposit (EMD) with a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 236.The latest Cidco lottery 2025 offered was the My Preferred Cidco Home that sold 26,000 affordable housing units.

To make it user-friendly, Cidco has simplified the documents required during application process for the people. Under the revision, applicants of the Cidco Lottery need not submit barcoded domicile certificates or notarised affidavits on high-value stamp paper.

Log on to lottery.cidcoindia.com/App

Step 2

If you are a new user, click on the ‘Register For Lottery’ tab.

CIDCO announces lottery for over 14,000 affordable houses in Navi Mumbai

Step 3

You will be redirected to the Applicant Registration Form, where you have to enter the basic details along with your mobile number, which will be used for all future communication.

Step 4

On the next screen, furnish your PAN card, Aadhaar Card and bank details, for refunds. You will also need to upload a cancelled cheque, as well as passport-size photo of the applicant.

Step 5

Once you confirm the registration, you will be redirected to a screen, where you will be able to see whether your uploaded documents are approved by CIDCO. This might take up to 24 hours.

Step 6

Once your documents are approved, the ‘Apply’ button will be enabled. Select the scheme that you want to apply for and note the code number for the same. You can select the scheme from the drop-down menu.

Step 7

The applicant can apply for the scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Step 8

Select applicant type. You can apply for the scheme individually, as well as jointly. If you are applying jointly, furnish the basic details and PAN card information, which will have to be approved by the CIDCO officers.

Step 9

Select the allotment preference, if you have any. Read the terms and conditions and whether you would be interested in other schemes, which have vacant apartments.

Step 10

Confirm the application and lottery details. You can use NEFT/RTGS, credit card, or net banking, for making the payment. Print the acknowledgment slip, sign at the applicable places with the applicant’s photograph. Upload this slip and proceed to the payment.

Cidco Lottery 2025: Steps after applying for lottery

Once lottery is closed, draft list will be published. Applicants who are not listed in the published draft list or has any mismatch of data etc., can raise objection within 7 days from the date of the list published.
Objection resolution will be done within 7 days after raising objection.
Final list of the eligible customers will be published after 5 days from the day of addressing all the objections received.
Lottery lucky draw will take place.
After execution of lottery, list of successful applicants will be displayed on CIDCO website and Letter of Intent (LOI) will be issued to successful winners.
Booking amount will be refunded to the customers within 30 days who are unsuccessful in the lottery process.
Winners will be asked to pay the remaining amount as per the schedule given in LOI.
Documentation verification for the winners will be announced and successfully verified customers will be issued Allotment Letter with payment plan on registration applicant portal.
After successful completion of all installments, the agreement will be done.
Once the agreement process is completed, possession of home will be given.
On possession date the key is handed over to the home buyers.

Cidco lottery 2025: Reasons for rejection

Domicile certificate: One of the common reasons for rejection of a Cidco lottery 2025 even if you have won the lottery is absence of domicile certificate.

According to various user forums, even when the lottery is won by an applicant, the application is rejected because of absence of domicile certificate.

Note that to get a domicile certificate, you can visit any lawyer with all your documents – birth certificate of Maharashtra or LC of Maharashtra school. The fee for this is around Rs 3,000 and you will get in 2-3 days. This service is also available for almost free on Maharashtra government’s website aaple sarkaar, but you will have to apply for it in advance as it will take some time.

Income category: Your Cidco lottery allotment will be rejected if you don’t fall in the income category mentioned. People in forums advices that while opting for the lottery check in what category you rightly fall in and contest with the Cidco officer if you are in the right.

Cidco lottery 2025: My Preferred Cidco Home last date extended

The last date of the Cidco Lottery Mass Housing Scheme’ My Preferred Cidco Home’ was extended till January 31, 2025. The registration window was open till January 30, 2025. This is the second time the lottery that started on October 12, 2024 was being extended. Previously the My Preferred Cidco Home last date was December 11 and before that it was November 11, 2024.

These units are located in Kharghar, Kalamboli and Ghansoli. The remaining 689 units were part of Cidco’s Swapnapurti and Vastu Vihar at Kharghar.

Can you sell Cidco flats?

The state government is planning to legalise the transfer of flats allotted in CIDCO projects in Navi Mumbai. At present, the beneficiaries who are allotted CIDCO flats, cannot sell it for at least five years. Now, with the amnesty scheme, those buyers who have given power of attorney to transfer their CIDCO flat before the five-year term, can get the transaction legalised.

Cidco: How to use Citizen Portal- Estate services?

Also known as the town services department, it manages the leases that have been granted by CIDCO – both, plots and CIDCO-built premises. It is responsible for all the post-agreement functions for the entire lease period. Once you win a CIDCO lottery, this may be of use to you.

To use these services, click on ‘citizen/business services’ on the homepage and select Estate CFC from the drop-down box. You will reach http://utkarsh.cidcoindia.com:7083/sap(bD1lbiZjPTkwMA==)/bc/bsp/sap/zcrm_bot_portal/index.htm

Click on ‘Submit online CFC application’. In the ‘Know Your Scheme and Apply for Service’ form, fill in details including node, sector, block, plot number and your scheme, select the service and click on apply for service.

You will have to fill in details for getting that particular service. For example, if you choose amalgamation of plots/flats as the service, then, you will get a form for the same that has to be duly filled and submitted.

After filling the details, check the service request status. Finally, enter the document/challan or reference number and make an online payment for the service.
