How to accept your Mhada lottery 2023 Mumbai unit?

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (Mhada) Mumbai board announced the Mhada lottery 2023 Mumbai for 4,082 units in May 2023. The last date for the application for the lottery was July 11, 2023. The Mhada authority published the final list of applicants on July 24, 2023 on the Mhada lottery website that can be accessed on https://housing.mhada.gov.in/signUp

The lucky draw for the lottery is expected to take place in the first week of August 2023, although the dates have not been announced yet. Once you win the lottery, check out steps to follow to accept the Mhada unit that you have won.

Steps to accept Mhada tenement

• Log on to https://housing.mhada.gov.in/signUp with your PAN number and password.
• Click on My applications to view the Intimation Letter.
• Next, click on Letter of Intent (LoI) to download the Intimation letter.

• You will also see details of the lottery with your application, scheme name, category code, draw status and action. Click on Accept tenement.

• You will reach the following page and check the box accepting the terms and conditions and click on Submit.

• Next, move to contract review and click on E-sign.

Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number and click on Verify OTP. Once you accept the Mhada unit, then you have to arrange the finances. Payment for the MHADA house has to be done within 180 days. Once full payment is done, the candidate has to go to the sub-registrar’s office only for registration.

Note that if you have won multiple units, you can accept only one and surrender the others. You can accept the Mhada unit only after surrendering the remaining ones.
