To provide affordable housing options to the people of Rajasthan, the state government established the Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) in 1970 as an autonomous body. The authority comes out with housing schemes and lottery draws, to allot homes to the deprived communities staying in the state. Now, the Rajasthan Housing Board has also started auctioning the flats, to dispose of the left-over apartments from the previous schemes. Rajasthan Housing Board scheme 2023 Eligibility

  • Applicants should be a resident of Rajasthan.
  • A registration fee of Rs 500 must be paid along with the applicable security deposit amount.
  • One can apply through a transparent bidding process. The highest bidder receives the housing unit according to the terms of the bidding.
  • Every prospective buyer must make a reasonable offer.
  • After the e-auction, the applicant must pay 10% of the cost of the selected property as down payment. The remaining amount must be paid within two months from the date of the auction.
  • The rate of relaxation is between 5% to 25% based on the condition of the property.

Rajasthan Housing Board scheme 2023: How to apply?

  • Go to the official Rajasthan Housing Board portal at urban.rajasthan.gov.in.

  • Click on the link given for Rajasthan Housing Board New Schemes 2023.
  • The list of all schemes will be displayed. Click on the housing scheme you wish to apply.
  • In the next step, click on the link for the Registration option on the next page.
  • Sign in to the portal using your login ID and Password. New users must register first by clicking the Register Now option.
  • Complete the application form by providing all the relevant information.
  • Submit the supporting documents, including identity proof, address proof, etc., along with the application.

Applicant should pay 10% of the total property cost as a downpayment. Save the reference number generated for the transaction.

All applicants need to pay a processing fee, to apply for any auction or lottery scheme. This fee may vary, depending upon the category.

RHB to complete building houses under Jan Awas by May 25

The Rajasthan Housing Board is planning to complete the construction of houses under the Mukhya Mantri Jan Awas Yojana by May 2023. Under this scheme, the housing board will construct buildings in Sector 3 and Sector 7 of Indira Gandhi Nagar and sectors 28 and 26 of Pratap Nagar in Jaipur. Seven buildings, including 444 flats for EWS and four buildings, 288 flats for LIG category, are under construction as part of the scheme.

Rajasthan Housing Board receives national award for real estate project

The RHB received a national award for registering the highest number of home projects with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

The Rajasthan Housing Board has won awards in the recent years, including the World Book of Records in House Sales, SKOCH Award-2021, National Housing Award, Star of Governance-Gold Award and the Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) Award.
